Day 1
Kampala to Lake Mburo
Wake up early for your breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe after you will be met by our experienced English-speaking driver guide from African Scenic Beauty Safaris, who will brief you on the 5 Days Gorilla trekking safari. After the briefing, we start our drive to Western Uganda. The drive is much more scenic as you watch the pearl of Africa's evergreen vegetation and hospitable people. We will reach to Lake Mburo early afternoon, and check in at our lodge for refreshments and lunch. After lunch, we drive inside the park for an afternoon boat cruise in the lake and after have a brief game drive in this savannah plains. Lake Mburo has more animals to view like zebras, giraffes, kobs, warthogs, hippos, and Elands among others. Retire back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Transfer to Bwindi.
Wake up early in the morning for the game drive in search of what we missed in the previous game drive. Morning game drives are more rewarding as nature is more active at that time of the day.
After the game drive, we go back for late breakfast at the lodge, check out and start our drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. It is a bit long drive that shall take us about 6hours 30minutes or more depending on our pace. Check-in at our lodge for refreshments, dinner, and overnight.
Day 3
Gorilla trekking
After breakfast and briefing by experienced park rangers, and with a picnic lunch, we will embark on a trek in search of the Mountain gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare. It is believed that only 800 remain in the world, 400 reside In Uganda and that’s in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mghinga. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas spent the previous day. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome, and exciting adventure of 5 Days Gorilla tracking tour that will leave us with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. It is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as the little ones play and interact. We will have a full hour with the gorillas. Tracking takes between 30 minutes and 8 hours depending on where the gorillas are found on that day, then return to our accommodation for overnight.
Day 4
Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search for tree-climbing Lions. We will be entering our second 5 Days Gorilla tracking tour. We may have a chance to see Topis, Bush bucks, Water bucks, spotted hyenas, Buffaloes on our way. There after go for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel believed to host the largest concentration of Hippos in Africa, a variety of migrant birds, Crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 5
Game drive and departure
After Breakfast we go for a morning game drive in kasenyi sector in search for Lions, we may have a chance to see Topis, Bush bucks, Water bucks, spotted hyenas, and Buffaloes. After the game drive we transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight.
End of our 5 Days Gorilla tracking tour Costs include Ground transport, Boat cruise, Park entrance fees, Vehicle entrance, Services of an English-speaking guide, En-route lunches and bottled water in the safari vehicle.
