Overview
On arrival day our representative will be eagerly waiting for you at Entebbe international airport or any one of the Uganda border posts in Mutukula, Busia, Malaba, and Elegu. You will be picked up and dropped to the agreed place of accommodation for overnight, dinner, and overnight on your first day
Day 1:transfer to Mabira forest Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge Transfer to Mabira forest Picnic lunch in the forest Afternoon and evening birding to see species like Africa grey parrot, African pit sunbirds etc. Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 2: full day’s birding in mabira forest Activities Full day birding in Mabira forest for species like great Blue Turaco., African grey parrot , hornbills , sunbirds and many more Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: transfer to Budungo forest en-route birding to Ziwa rhino sanctuary Activities Relaxed breakfast and checkout of the lodge En-route birding to Ziwa rhino sanctuary having chances of viewing birds like broads bile, African blue flycatcher, blue spotted dove and many more En-route at Ziwa Check in top the booked lodge in Budungo.
Day 4: full day’s Budongo forest experience Activities Birding in the royal mile area of Budongo forest experiencing species like African pied hornbill, African dwarf kingfisher, green bulls, snake eagle Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 5: half birding at Kaningo Pabidi and transfer to Murchison falls national park Activities Morning birding experience to Kaningo Pabidi and experience species like African wood, green breasted pita, African scops owl and many more Afternoon transfer to Murchison and birding at the top of falls with species liking fishing owl, chested nut and many more Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
DAY 6: birding on the base of falls and delta area in the afternoon Activities Morning birding to base of falls and see species like African skimmer, pied king fisher, fish eagles and many more Afternoon birding at delta area to look out for rare shoe bile stork Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 7: birding in the savannah area of Murchison falls Activities Birding along the savannah part of the park and experience species like owls, speckle fronted weaver, sun birds and many more Afternoon relaxation at the lodge until dinner and overnight.
Day 8: birding in Kabongo forest and transfer to Hoima Activities Birding in the forest to experience more forest bird and primate watch of species like olive baboons and Columbus monkeys Transfer to Hoima and check inn to the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: transfer kibale national park Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge En-route viewing butwaiba fault scarps En-route visit of small crater lakes Check in to the booked lodge for lunch and take rest of the day at the lodge.
Day 10: birding in kibale forest and Bigodi wetland Activities Birding inn kibale forest and chimpanzee tracking with other primate watching Afternoon birding to Bigodi wetland and experience more birds like the commonly seen great blue turacco Dinner and overnight at booked lodge in kibale.
Day 11: transfer to queen Elizabeth national park And do evening birding around Mweya peninsula Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge Transfer to queen Elizabeth Afternoon birding and encounter species like African Morning dove, Nubian wood, hammer kop, and many more and then evening of flamingo lake Munyanyange in Katwe and then return to the lodge Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 12: full days birding queen Elizabeth Activities Morning birding around Kasenyi plains and Kikorongo areas for species like Hadada ibis, Scared ibis, common Speclo and glossy Afternoon birding with boat cruise along Kazinga journey for species like pied king fisher, saddle billed stork, yellow billed stork, cormorants, Egyptian geese and many along the channel bank Dinner and overnight at selected lodge.
DAY 13: transfer to Bwindi Gorilla park Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge En-route birding to Ishasha sector for the rare climbing lions Check in the booked lodge in Buhoma and take the rest of the day.
DAY 14: birding around Buhoma sector Activities Birding experience along Bwindi forest in Buhoma sector having chances to view species like black and white Bellied Robin-chat, Cinnamon-chested bee- eater, slender billed sterling, and many more Return to the lodge around afternoon and take rest of the day for relaxation at the lodge until diner and overnight.
Day 15: gorillas tracking in Bwindi Activities Gorilla tracking in Bwindi is the adventure experience meeting with the gentle apes in close ranges Evening relaxed at the lodge after tiresome trekking Dinner and overnight.
Day 16: birding along Ruhija sector of Bwindi forest national park Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge Transfer to briefing point of Ruhija sector and do morning around the sector Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 17: transfer to Lake Mburo national park Activities Relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge Lunch in Mbarara town Evening birding along Lake Mburo national park Dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 18: transfer to kampala Activities relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge en-route birding in lake Mburo national park as we check out of the park\lunch in kampala at booked hotel and then dinner and overnight.
Day 19: birding along Lutembe bay wetland and Entebbe botanical garden Activities morning birding at Entebbe botanical garden and view birds like chested sun birds, golden bee weavers, black weaver and many more afternoon birding along Lutembe bay wetland dinner and overnight at booked lodge.
Day 20: birding along Mabamba swamp Activities transfer to Mabamba swamp and to see the rare shoebill stork, cattle egrets, water, egrets, and many more dinner and overnight at selected place of accommodation departure day relaxed breakfast and checkout of the lodge pick up and transfer to Entebbe airport or border post or departure.
