Begins with an early morning drive in the park, followed by a peaceful riverboat cruise along the Kazinga Channel ideal for viewing hippos, crocodiles, and a host of water birds up close. After lunch, continue through stunning terrain toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll arrive in the late afternoon to settle into your lodge. Dinner and overnight amid the forest fringes offer a peaceful evening before the gorilla trek.

Under the guidance of rangers, you’ll hike through primary rainforest tracking a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you’ll spend an hour observing their behaviors eating, playing, interacting while maintaining respectful distance as per park regulations. After this rare encounter, relax at your lodge and optionally join a late afternoon community walk to meet the local Batwa people, gaining insight into their ancestral traditions and forest lifestyle.
